Monster Bookmarks!

I love the cute monsters in the Oddly Sweet Curiosities Set.  The sentiments that come with them are so cute, too.  Perfect for adults as well as kiddos.  In prep for the new school year, I decided to experiment with bookmarks...

I used Monster Mash and Monster Success. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink directly on to patterned paper and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. (You will need to be careful of the Copics bleeding.)  The sentiments were stamped on white cardstock and then cut out and adhered to the patterned paper.  Framed twice and punched a hole.  I applied Smooch Illuminate to Monster Mash's tutu, Gelly Roll Glaze Pen to her horns, shoes & tongue, and Gelly Roll Stardust Pure Glitter Pen to glitz up some of her hair.  I applied  Gelly Roll Glaze Pen  to Monster Success' orange spots and gave his teeth a brightening with my Sharpie Ultra Fine Poster Paint Pen.  Then I decided to decoupage the whole thing so that the words would be sealed pretty tight.  Added some cording and done.  

I've got one more project in the works with these sweet guys.
