When I first saw this Dreamweaver "Carp" Stencil, I knew I had to have ii. I love Koi fish! They are beautiful and hold much meaning.
I used my stencil to make a CAS Father's Day card for Great Grandpa.
I began by taping the metal stencil to my cardstock and running it through my bigshot to emboss the image. While the stencil was still taped on, I rubbed my VersMark Ink Pad over the stencil, then using stencil brushes, I applied "Teal Zircon", "Kiwi", "Sunflower" and "Celadon" Luminarte Mica Powders to the Koi images. Before removing the stencil, I flipped it upside down and tapped off any excess powder. After removing the stencil, I sprayed it with a clear glaze to set the powder.
My husband really liked that card, so I decided to keep with the Koi for his and my father's Father's Day card. I taped my Dreamweaver "Carp" Stencil to my cardstock and ran through my bigshot. While the stencil was still taped on, I went to town with sponge daubers and various distress inks. For how-tos, you can see my previous stencils post HERE.
Just mat and you are good to go!
