Sea Cliff Eyes!

In case you missed our last release hop, I'm here with "Sea Cliff Eyes" from the Susana Loves Stamps "Eyes of Dreams Collection".

I took a bare wooden frame and primed it with White Gesso from the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Kit.  I then painted over it with White acrylic paint.  After the paint dried, I applied Ranger Rock Candy Crackle Paint.  After that had dried, I rubbed "Vintage Photo" Ranger distress ink over the cracks so that it would seep in.  After, I wiped the frame with a paper towel to remove the excess ink.  I then brushed Luminarte Silk Acrylic Glazes in "Solar Gold" and "Kiwi" over the whole frame and then wiped off the excess with a paper towel.

Sea Cliff Eyes was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Sakura Stardust Pen was used over her wings and the shells in her hair.  Sakura Clear Glaze Pen was used on her eyes, lips and anklet.  She was then fussy cut and adhered along with Magic Mesh to the frame.  Sand was put into a Tim Holtz "Corked Glass Vial" and adhered along with shells to the frame.

To get the netting effect in the upper corners, I took a piece of  Magic Mesh  and sponged distress inks over it.  After inking, I removed the  Magic Mesh .

I also played around and colored Sea Cliff Eyes using bright colors:

Hope you had a fab Easter weekend!
