Mariposa Eyes!

Hi all!  Sorry, trying to get my head above water lately, ack, lol.  Today I'm here with "Mariposa Eyes" from the Susana Loves Stamps "Eyes of Dreams Collection".

She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  Her dress was paper pieced using gorgeous papers from the Pink Paislee "London Market" paper pad (love this pad!).  The paper pieces were shaded with Copics for dimensional effect.  Sakura Stardust Pen was used on her wings, outfit trims and the butterfly.  Sakura Clear Glaze Pen was used on her eyes and lips.

For the framed background, I cut a solid frame out of patterned paper from the same gorgeous paper pad, using Memory Box "Debutante Frame" Die (on sale now!).  I ran this die cut through my big shot using the  Couture Creations "Waterfall" Embossing Folder (this folder is cool!).  Using a brayer, I inked the raised portions with "Shabby Shutters" Distress Ink.  I then brayered over that using Luminarte Silks Acrylic Glaze "Ice" for a very beautiful shimmery effect.  I then die cut green cardstock using my  Memory Box "Twirling Vine Frame" Die (on sale now!) and adhered it over the solid frame die cut.  Note - these Memory Box Dies work together - layering one on top of the other.  I then fussy cut my image and adhered her with pop dots to the card.  I added a lot of little pearls to the background using my Viva Decor "Ice White" Pearl Pen (this seems to be my go-to pearl pen, lol).
