PEACE

Good Morning! It seems like forever since I have posted. I have been super busy, as well, as being under the weather. Hopefully, things will calm down soon so I can play and try some new techniques.

This adorable image is "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" from the Sylvia Zet "THE NEW ADVENTURES OF LOLI AND POPPY". Isn't she cute? Going to give away my age here - I can remember the flower child days and bell bottoms and peace signs everywhere.

She is colored with COPICS and highlighted with STICKLES. I did do some stitching on this card because I thought it called for it.

Here's a different angle. The embellishment in the corner was made using the POPPY STAMPS DIE - SMALL TILDA SWIRL. I cut it out with pink and orange and layered it and put a embellie from my stash in the center with a rhinestone. The border is a MEMORY BOX DIE - MERIDIAN BORDER. Before I used the Memory Box dies I only used SB for background, but after using these dies and see how clean they cut I use them a lot more. To finish my card off I used rhinestones from my stash.
