Here it is almost December already and time for lots of Holiday Cheer!!! What better way to spread some cheer than with a SCACD Release!!!

The final SCACD stamp release for the year ends with an Elisabeth Bell for SCACD stocking stuffer’s release!!! These are what I call classic Elisabeth Bell style and are stamps that I have had for awhile that didn’t quite fit into the Peekers releases. But don’t be fooled these aren’t holiday stamps. So I am calling the Collection the Odds and Ends Sampler. For you Peeker fans more are coming next year!!! The 1^st Collection is the Odds Sampler and contains 4 stamps. The other Collection is the Ends Sampler and has 4 stamps. Both Sets are just the sweetest!!! You will be able to buy either Set of 4 or Both sets togetherand get a sweet discount!!!

For my creation today I have used  The Victorian, I also used the new Basic Grey Picadilly paper--such happy papers!! Her dress screamed to be paper pieced too..my favorite technique!!

This is Order Up!! So reminds me of my home towns restaurant when I was young . She has been colored with my copic’s and the papers are from Free Bird Blush and Delight pad. And as I have always said and will continue to say Susana has the most selection of paper pads there is. And there are some on sale so get them while they last.

I used some Diamond Glaze on the shake and her eyes. Isn’t she just a doll ???

The Beauty!

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! 

This is The Beauty from the Reflections Yesteryear Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD. I decided to make a tag to attach to a "Thank You" gift I need to give out. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. Her dress was paper pieced with two papers from Webster's Pages - Let's Celebrate/All About Me/Western Roman paper pad.  I also cut parts of different papers from this same gorgeous pad to use on my tag.

Spellbinders Nestabilities Postage Stamps for the tag base and to frame the photo. (Note - the dies are square so I cut out two and merged them to make rectangles.) The image was then fussy cut (I cut off the chair she sits in so that I could "perch" her on the nestability die cut).  My Viva Decor "Cream" Pearl Pen was used to create pearl hangings from her dress and also on her pearl necklace. Smooch Illuminate was brushed over her outfit.

Oh look at this adorable image !!! This is another of the Carmen Medlin for Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. I think this image is just perfect for any occasion.

It is called  Carolyn's Bonsai

I have colored it with my copic’s .

The papers are from Authentique  Journey. By the way have you seen the wide selection Susana has of paper pads ?????? Wow now you have to check them out.

I have used several  dies and the corner ones have been coated in Glamour Dust Glitter Paint with some Zva Creative Pearls on them.

SCACD is open and ready for you to shop your heart out!  I know Susana has all kinds of FABULOUS things for you to purchase when you shop and if you are like me, you would much rather do your holiday shopping from the chair at your computer than fighting all the crowds today (or any day for that matter).    I am also a firm believer of purchasing what I want, wrapping it up and putting the appropriate 'from ' tag on it.  Hubby likes that I do that as well.  It makes his like sooooooooooooooo much easier.

This image is Happy Town from the newly released Street Views drawn by Victoria Case exclusively for SCACD.  This set is absolutely fun and fabulous!  I used the Bo Bunny Blitzen paper pad and a friend's fabulous handwritting to turn it into a Holiday Greeting Card.

The Georgian & The Regency!

Hi All!  Today I have a CAS card (sorta, lol).  I'm using The Georgian from the Reflections Yesteryear Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD. How beautiful are these images?!  Have you checked them out yet?
  

She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The top portion of her was cut out with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Ovals Die and backed with a Scalloped Ovals Die.  Her bottom was then fussy cut.  The beautiful background paper is form the Kaisercraft - Vintage Timeless paper pad.  Gorgeous Make It Crafty - Laser Cut Chipboard - Swirly Corners were swiped with Distress Ink for effect.

The Beauty

Good Day dear blogging friends !!!

I am back today to show you another one of the new releases from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards from the Carmen Medlin Collection.

This one is called The Beauty !! And a beauty she is !!

She has been colored with copic’s  along with some Spica Glitter Pens 

The paper is from Bo Bunny’s .

I have used the Memory Box die Tree and added some Zva Creative Pearls on the tree.

The flourish is from the chipboard range of Make It Crafty and have added a coat of  glamour dust glitter paint over the top after painting it with my copic marker.

The larger flower is Prima and all flowers have the glamour dust glitter paint on them.

Spyder ready for for the Holidays

Most of you that visit my personal blog very often know that Spyder, from the Little Acorns Set, is one of my favorite images.  I decided to dress him up for Christmas so you can see how he can be used year round!

After coloring him in Christmas colors, I used Polar White Flowersoft to put a fur edging on his hat.  The spider is replaced with a snowflake.  Now he is one of Santa's Elves!  I also used the Polar White Flowersoft and snowflake punches on the swirls as decoration and to continue the snowy feel.

Tip- the swirls weren't exactly the shapes I wanted, so I did some trimming and piecing to them until I felt they were just right.  Don't be afraid to change things up and make them work for you.

Butterfly Dreams

This gorgeous image from the Reflections Fantasy set is named Butterfly Dreams.  Isn't her dress amazing?!?

The background paper is from the Bo Bunny Zoology pack.  Great papers and colors in the pack.  I used Viva Decor Pearl Pen in bronze to create the bodies for the larger butterflies.  I hope you have checked out this entire release.  There are some amazing images!

Yes look at this cutie patootie!!!!!! This is Tinkles from Susana’s   from the Make It Crafty range. I just fell in love with her.

I thought this image was just perfect for some Christmas Cards. She has been colored with my copic’s and I have added some Glamour Dust Glitter Paint to her shoes and hat and the bells. I am soooooo totally addicted to this stuff. The papers are from Bo Bunny’s from the Father Christmas Collection. This pad is just gorgeous !!!

I used a Memory Box Die of Snowflakes and added some Hologram Glitter Pen to parts of the snowflake. These pens are very addicting too let me tell you lol

Here is a close up of this cutie. Isn’t she just a doll ???

Masquerade

This beauty is a part of the Reflections Fantasy Collection by Carmen Medlin for SCACD.  The moment I saw Miss. Masquerade I immediately knew I wanted to color her with blues....she so reminds me of an Ice Princess!  

Masquerade was colored with Copics and accented with pastel pencils.  Her wings got a coat of the beautiful DecoArt Crystal Glamour Dust Paint.....ooooo do I love all the sparkle this paint gives!  I am a true girl...love the glitter and sparkle! hee hee!

I hope you have enjoyed my "Ice Princess" themed card...think of all the possiblities you have for this gorgeous stamp!

HER CAGED HEART

This beauty is from the NEW Reflections Fantasy Collection by the fabulous Carmen Medlin for SCACD.  Papers are from theKaisercraft Chapter 1 Collection (which Susana currently has on sale for 15% off)...this collection is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the teals, greens and blacks!

Her Caged Heart was colored with Copics and accented with my pastel pencils.  This was my first time at trying to color pleats.  Not sure if I am totally in love with them yet or not....but we all gotta start somewhere....and practice does make perfect so I'll keep practicing :)

The Birdcage is a Kaisercraft Chipboard that was painted with my Viva Mother of Pearl Precious Metal paint....love the sparkle and shimmer and beautiful coating that you get with this paint all in ONE coat!  You can cover wooden objects with ONE coat at well, click-->here<--,  -->here<--, and -->here<-- to see my other Viva Precious Metal creations.  Susana carries a Memory Box Die that looks similar to my chipboard that would work fabulous with this stamp!
