Sending My Love

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you all have a WONDERFUL week!!!  Can you believe that it's already the end of February?  I sure the heck can't...but am VERY grateful that it's definitely getting closer to May...graduation here I come!!!  Today I have a fun altered piece of work to share with you!  I recently found this frame on clearance during one of my shopping excursions....add a sweet little girl from SCACD, Stickles, and flowers and you have a wonderful gift for someone special!

I've used the beautiful and oh so sweet Blowing Kisses by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.  She is from the Spring Sampler 2011 Set.  The black stripes have been blitzed up with Silver Stickles.

Blowing Kisses has been colored with Copics and accented with a white gel pen.  I think this cutie pie is so darn adorable!  The flowers on her dress, hair ties, and hearts were all sparklized with Star Dust Stickles.  I then took my Viva Decor Rose Paper Pen and added that to the middle of each flower on the dress....such a wonderful accent this gives!  If you don't have any Viva Decor Pens what are you waiting for?!  These are an absolutely MUST in my book....Susana has the pearls pens, glitter liners, papers pens, gloss pens, and glass effect pens, not to mention MANY OTHER VIVA DECOR products!!!  I {heart} Viva Decor sooooo much!  The effects you get are truly amazing!!!

I hope you've enjoyed my altered artwork!

Happy Saturday to you all!  I hope you are having a fantastic weekend!  Today I have a fun and easy project to share with you!  This is a pocket calendar that I picked up and altered!

Don't you just love this cutie from the Reflections #2 Set by Carmen Medlin for SCACD?  I absolutely LOVE this beauty...her name is 1st Signs of Spring!  She was the PERFECT image for altering my pocket calendar....add a few nesties, a dolie and some bling and there you have it....a customized one of a kind beautiful pocket calendar!  This was part of the birthday present I gave to my friend.  She absolutely LOVES pink (just like me) and she loves zebra print.....and my favorite part was that she absolutely loved her gift! :)

1st Signs of Spring was colored with Copics!

Flower was dressed up with Prima bling for some fun sparkle.  Check out all of the amazing Prima Blings that Susana has in the store -->here<--!  Her selection is wonderful!

anxious for Spring...

hi all!
bit of a late post as usual! i just do NOT have enough hours in the day to fit in all of my want to dos along with all of my need to dos and the needs had to come first. but then i got to play with this card once i was done!
My papers are from the Kaisercraft Lush 6x6 paper pad. i love this pad - it is such an unusual and serene color scheme. Our sketch we were given to work with was wonderful!

i colored Bunni with prisma pencils. rather than just coloring the flowers on her basket handle i thought it would be a perfect spot for a little flower soft! i mixed a bit of orange into the meadow mix and sprinkled it on. i love how she turned out! she will be one of the cards i hand out when i go to my mom's family reunion just before easter.

don't forget to stop in at the store - there are lots of new goodies coming in!!!

hugs

Vintage Beauty

Well, I'm just so excited to share my card with you today!!! I LOVE this image by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD. I do believe it's my current favorite :) Here's Cameo Rose...

Isn't she a beauty??? My inspiration was the stamp itself, so when I was shopping, I knew I wanted to find some kind of cameo embellishment. I think I found the perfect accent to adorn the tulle double bow, don't you?

Here's a close up of the double bow with dots of stickles :)

I've used Suzanne's FABULOUS sketch!

Can you see the fabulous Maya Mist? The whole card is spritzed with Iridescent Pearl. I LOVE the shimmer! This image cuts out perfectly with the Spellbinders Classic Small Oval (the largest one in the set). Isn't that cool? The oval is matted with the scalloped oval and is adhered with dimensionals. Susana doesn't have the size oval I used, but she does have the Large Oval Set Here and the Large Scalloped Oval (15% off!) Here.

I've colored up this beauty with copics of course... B97 B95 B93 B91; R85 R83 R81; C9 C7 C5 C3, E11 E21 E00 R20; G28 G24 G20. For the gorgeous bling on the flowers, I used Stardust Stickles. The cream pearls were created with Cream Viva Decor Paper Pen. You know how much I LOVE my paper pens. As you can see, there are a variety of sizes on this card and especially with all the little ones around the scallop, the Paper Pens are a money saver! I've also added a few pink rhinestones around the frame as well as a 'necklace' for her.

Dp is Memory Box Brioche - it's so pretty! Oh the mini roses are by Prima (25% off!) and I've used a NEW PRODUCT which I can not tell you yet what it is... but I've used it numerous times and I will say that I LOVE it!!! Keep your eyes open to find out what it is :)

Love and blessings ~

Purple Elegance

Hello Friends~  Welcome to TIOT!  Suzanne has a fabulous sketch for us to play with this week and it was so much fun!!!!  I wanted to make a sophisticated and elegant card....and this is my end result.

For my card I have used the new Cameo Rose by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD, she's from the Spring Sampler 2011 Set.  I absolutely {heart} this stamp...I can't wait to make another card with her!  I think she is PERFECT for any occasion...but I especially can see myself using her for a bridal shower card, or for a teenage girl birthday card...so be on the lookout for Miss. Cameo Rose again on my blog soon!!!  Papers are from the Kaisercraft After 5 Collection.
Can you believe I made a card WITHOUT using my Copics?  I know...I CAN'T believe it either!  LOL!  Cameo Rose was stamped with Versamark onto a black piece of cardstock and then took my silver embossing powder and heat embossed this beauty.  I wish I could capture the beauty of the embossing in the picture because in real life she is absolutely stunning!  She was cut out using the SB Labels 9.

I hope you've enjoyed my purple elegance today!

Kim's In Awe

I think this new release image named Kim's In Awe and drawn by Elisabeth Bell exclusively for SCACD is so adorable!  How many of you have ever had the chance to see a daughter, niece, neighbor, granddaughter, etc. in a similar position.  I love the after, when the butterfly has flown away, and they are just so excited by the experience.

We were provided with a sketch this week for TIOT and it really was a wonderful starting point.  I pulled out my Kaisercraft Seaside papers to work with.  I love the color themes in this pack. The photo doesn't show it well at all, but the butterfly is highlighted with sparkles by using my Viva Decor glitter liner in hologram.  I love the super fine tip on the liner that lets me work in small spaces like this butterfly.

The flowers on the middle strip are by Petaloo.  They actually started out white, but with the help of the same marker used to color portions of Kim's dress, they now match exactly!  How fabulous is that?  I love white flowers.

Get Inky!

TIOT Sketch!

Hello Everyone! Suzanne gave us this this awesome sketch to play with this week!  I very seldom used sketches in the past, but finding they make card making a whole lot easier at times.

I just love this stamp from the Elisabeth Bell's  Spring Sampler 2011 Set.  A Letter To A Friend, All my relatives live in other states and I daydream of days gone by when I send birthday cards or write letters and so this was perfect for my friends birthday card!

I left home 10 days ago and in my haste to get everything ready for postings, I forgot to write down the paper and Copics colors. My flowers are Prima's. The birthday sentiment was embossed with Stewart Superior Fine Detail Embossing Powder gold.    Image was cut and embossed with  Nestabilities Classic Large Circles.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's cards below mine for awesome inspirations! Have a safe and great day!

A sketch!

Anyone that knows me knows I love sketches, so I couldn't pass up using this fab sketch that Suzanne made for the  SCACD DT for this week!!

The sketch~

My card~

I decided to ink up the last "From the Vault" image from Victoria Case for SCACD, Celebrate. I love this cake and it is so versatile!! I had so much fun coloring this image!! I think it would also look awesome in a monochromatic color scheme...like I said, so versatile!

Okay, after finishing the colorful card, I decided to try and make a more elegant one. For my "pearls" I used my Viva Decor Pearl pen, love using this especially when there are multiple pearls needed.

The little details~ Celebrate, Memento Tuxedo Black, copics, copic glitter pens, stickles, Petaloo dazzlers--on special!!!, Viva Decor Pearl Pen,

Be sure to visit SCACD as Susana has done it again and brought in some amazing flowers, papers and stencils by Prima and she also has the new Kraftin' Kimmie stamps in stock too...(I think I'm going to have to pick up the one named Patsy as that's my Mom's name, hehe)!! Go forth and go shopping!

Time for TIOT and time to CELEBRATE!!

First of all - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the BEST DAD in the world!
Love you tons!

We also have a fab sketch from Suzanne to play with today.

Here's my take on the sketch - I wanted to create at least a cyber chocolate-vanilla-raspberry cake for my Dad *lol*. Don't you think that the Viva Decor Walnut Paper Pen almost looks like real chocolate ;-)
Colouring: Copics
Ribbon from SU
Sentiment from Aud Design

Hope you like it. Looking fwd to see what you create with this fab sketch by Suzanne.

SIMPLE THINGS - SMALL JOYS

It's almost Spring !! YAY!!! Isn't this image just the sweetest? Meet "Kim's in Awe" from Elisabeth Bell Spring Sampler 2011 Set. All the images in this set are so sweet.

Suzanne gave us a fabulous sketch to work with this week. It worked really well with the image and paper I wanted to use. The image is colored with Copics with just a little Stickles on her hair bow and butterfly. The background was cut with my SB Nesties. The pretty little yellow bow was made using my Bow Easy. I have no idea where I got the sentiment, it was in my stash and the DP is CTMH.

Here is another angle. Please be sure to check out the other DT samples here.

Also, Susana has just rec. some GORGEOUS Prima Paper and some Prima Flowers that are to die for. Can't wait to get my order in. While you are at the store check out the NEW Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. They are sooo cool!! There will a lot of other new products arriving this week. Don't miss out.

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate all of you.

Hugs,
