Tidings of Comfort and Joy

Happy Tuesday!

Can't believe that it's November already and time for the very first November TIOT. Suzanne is challenging us to create a Winter/X-mas card using NON-TRADITIONAL colors - i.e no red, green, gold or silver.

So I decided to try to create a card using the colours brown, pink and beige.

I also wanted to use one of the new images from the Carmen Medlin for SCACD release. My choice was Love's Unspoken Bond - just because this image gives me the same cozy feeling that I want to have during Winter time and especially during X-mas.

Coloured them with my copics and added a little pattern on their clothes with my white gel pen.

Was I lucky to have the perfect DPs in my stash - YES ;-) The DPs are from a Swedish brand that I picked up at our local craft shop. Added a ribbon, few snowflakes and pearls created with my Viva Decor Pen. The sentiment is a rub-on saying "Tidings of Comfort & Joy".
