Oooo, my most messiest accident in my craft room happened not too long ago actually! I was devasted as I had just completed two cards and then knocked my whole cup of coffee over grrrr!!!! It was everywhere and needless to say my cards were ruined lol! Taught me a good lesson mind you, never have a drink near your workstation. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to win some gorgeous stamps. Keeping fingers crossed. Lotsa luv xxxx

My most accidental crafty mess I've ever done is with a hot glue gun, I just used it and managed to get glue inside both my hands and and burn marks because of the heat,I'm much more careful with hot glue guns now..

Paula said...

The most accidental spill that springs to mind is a blocked Stickles bottle splurting all over my almost finished project - it wasn't salvageable. Would love to win some of thse so thans for the opportunity.

The messiest spill I made was opening a pot of Perfect Pearls the wrong way up. I ended up covered in them and the more I brushed to remove them the shinier I seemed to get. :)

Dawn said...

it was a whole bottle of glitter... about a year ago and i think I am still cleaning it up!!!

Michelle said...

Like Carol, my messiest spill happened recently and involved coffee!
I was moving a pile of stuff that had a coffee cup on top(which, of course, I didn't think to check to see if it was empty or full). I was almost at the pile's new destination when I tripped over a pile of stuff on the floor. The cup and the coffee went flying and splashed on several open containers of white and cream scrap cardstock/paper, several cards-in-progress at my workstation, and an open container of glitter! Well, at least now I don't have to worry about using up my white and cream scraps :)

I lost a perfectly good jar of embossing powder all over my work table...but fortunately it was not spilled on my project! Thanks for a chance to win!

Deb said...

The most messy accidental spill I had was a can of Diet Pepsi. I was coloring images, I reached for something, who knows what, and bam over went my soda. Lost about half of the images that I had colored. What frustration! I needless to say, no longer have any beverages near where I am working.

I dropped an entire large Sonic Diet Coke on my rolling cart with all my cutters (CM cutting system, punches, scissors, etc) - such a HUGE mess! But I was so thankful I didn't ruin any "real" supplies except a few small paper stacks :-)

Jessica said...

The messiest accident I've made has happened a few times, I've knocked over my little waste basket I keep on my craft table and all the tiny bits and pieces of paper, pencil shavings and things have fallen all over the floor! not fun!!

Cathy F said...

Oh my - it was when I quickly turned and knocked over a whole jar of embossing powder, what a mess I am still finding powder on my desk. Thanks for a chance to win. I love all these stamps.

The messiest accident I've had in my studio was when I dumped the entire large jar of diamond dust all over my work area. Those little pieces of glass hurt when you try to scoop them up!

Thanks for the chance to win!

Angela B. said...

My messiest spill would be when my husband got some crazy idea to grab up my embossing powder and wants to emboss one of my stamped images. He ended up spilling the powder all over the picture it was fine and turned out his way of dumping on the powder made the card look even better. ;)

My spill involved floor wax. I was trying to make some cool glittered ornaments last year. I thought I was pouring the wax into the ornament and the whole time was pouring it on the table... That was a mess! I think I have the shiniest table in the neighborhood! LOL. Thanks for the opportunity to win some super cute stamp sets!

I once knocked over a bottle of distress ink re-inkers on my desk, I was so glad that I always have the craft sheet on my table, I was able to salvage all the ink back in the bottle and it was so easy to wipe the sheet clean. I had all the ingredients of a major hazard, the ink in the bottle is very "inky". =)
Hugs, SannaS

Mary Lou said...

My messiest spill was awhile back--about 1 year-new to crafting~~ when I was teaching myself how to heat emboss. I stamped~sprinkled emboss powder over it--had a sheet of paper under to catch overflow and then turned on my heat tool forgetting to move paper with excess and blew emboss powder all over my workdesk~~into every nook and cranny you could imagine:) I learned a good lesson--no food, drink, and heat tool near workdesk!! Moved heat tool to a complete different area :)
Thanks for chance at new releases~~can't wait to see them!!
Blessings and Hugz

Talking about accidents, It just happens right now when I am writing this oooohhhh shooooot :( I forgot that my image is still wet and put my fingers just in the middle of the Diamond Glaze, you can imagine what happens. I must start all over again .
But ok things like that happened ,when I'm trying to do 3 things a the sametime.
I can't wait to see the whole collection.
The card from Suzanne is adorable.

I opened a package once and an entire container of black embossing powder spilled all over it and as I was pulling out my items, the powder got everywhere.

OH I don't have a good one.... Just coffee and it got everywhere just this morning I pulled out my paint brushes and found that I missed a spot while cleaning. I have learned my lesson. My coffee now has its own side table ;) I am so very excited to see the new stamps!

Messiest spill, well tiresome anyhoo. I love adding beads and making shaker cards so have a huge container of small beads. It sat on my top shelf beside some books. Books fell over, container fell, burst and "millions" of tiny beads sprinkled down on my floor and area carpet. I managed to salvage some BUT...alas I gave up and vacuumed the remainder up. Needless to say, my beads are no longer sorted by colour:)

Betty said...

My worst spill would be a whole bottle of paint that I was using on the a LO. I had removed the lid to 'save' the left over paint by putting it back in the bottle... I now pour out a lot less and add to it if needed so I don't have the urge to but left overs back in the bottle.

Leslie Rodriguez said...

My messiest spill involved sweet tea and my just finished projects! It was about midnight and I was just finishing up when I knocked the darn tea over everything. :(

Mae said...

I have been pretty lucky to not spill liquid anywhere to this point but when I first received my flower soft...wow that made a mess. I have since learned the correct storage techniques and we are getting along just fine!

OhioLori said...

Oh wow....just ask my Kiddo's how messy/clutsy I can be!! LOL!! Messiest tho, HAS to be droppin' jar of glitter & havin' it bounce off desk to floor!!! You can believe the room is STILL Sparklin'!!! Whewie!!

Thanks soooo much for chance to win!!

Lori :)

Lorraine said...

my messiest must have been when i spilt a whole tub of loose glitter all over my table turned and it ended up all over the living room floor i tell you there was glitter there for weeks i just couldn't shift it lol xx

jan farnworth said...

right after we finally got my new craft room all done in our basement with the new carpet and stuff i was drinking a cup of coffee browsing the internet and i knocked it all over the floor and walls not so pretty. now i have a coffee stain on my new floor.

Tanya said...

My messiest spill was when I went to pick up a container of glitter so I could pour the extra back in. I did not turn the lid to tighten, so when I lifted I picked it up by the lid. The container fell about six inches, plus I had the fan on, so glitter EVERYWHERE! The whole family wore glitter for a few days. lol

Lorraine said...

I'm a messy crafter, LOL. I've spilled coffee, stamp pads and even embossing powder in my crafting area and on the floor. I think that's why I haven't tried glitter, lol. But the last horrible spill was by my DT - he dropped a shaker card I made and it broke open, sending tiny glass beads flying everywhere. Those are hard to clean up! And it looks like some of them smashed under my chair and scratched the wood floor underneath.

ThePurplePlace said...

Hum....you know what is funny...I can't think of any bad spill I have had in my craft room, other than a bit of embossing powder and glitter, every now and then....

But, NOW after reading some of the other girls posts...I feel like I might be overdue....

Yikes!!! Off to color...and be very careful!! :)

The most accidental messy spill I had was when I knocked over a full glass of iced tea. It went everywhere, all over my newly made cards, all over my copic markers, all over my cuttlebug, all over my paper cutter, etc...... It was messy and very sticky as it was sweet tea. So if I didn't get it all, it was nice and sticky.....

Love the new release so far.... Great Card Suzanne.....

Your card is beautiful! Love this image too and your coloring is flawless! Hmmmm....I'm kinda accident prone so I tend to spill stuff, knock stuff over, etc. all the time. I've definitely spilled drinks so now I have a holder that attaches to the end of the desk to hold my drink so it's separate from the craft table. My most recent was spilling glitter everywhere. Knocked it over onto the desk and floor. I'm still finding specs of glitter on things. You should have seen me trying to salvage as much as I could, LOL! Thanks for this chance at some candy!

Candy said...

Oh my spill was a whole glass of Pepsi.
All over my work, desk, computer, carpet - you name it. I happened quite some time ago and I am still finding sticky spots of pop on things!!! I thought I had cleaned it up so well :o(

I must knock on wood, because I haven't really had any really bad spills or accidents in my craft room. I do have a sisal rug on the floor and anything that gets spilled or dropped on it causes me great stress. It is a deep woven pattern and stuff just gets stuck down in the crevaces. Wishin and hopin for the prize. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Rene said...

I haven't really had a bad one yet except for the usual glue spill...am I just lucky????

The most accidental happening in my craft area, is actually my cat Shadow's fault. She came from outdoor, on a rainy day. I was creating a card, and had cardstock, designpapers, paper flowers and other stuff spread all over my desk, and my card was half done, when my cat jumped right on the table, and just walked all over my stuff...I can tell you, it was quite some muddy paw prints all over my stuff :)

Sharron aka Sharrahug said...

I think my most messy spill was when I accidentally knocked over my plastic bin full of yummy glitter on the couch in my family room. OY I vacuumed & vacuumed (after saving as much as I could) & still found glitter after weeks & weeks. LOL My family was wearing glitter for ages........LOL.......even the dog! LOL

Thanks for the chance to win such an amazing blog candy!

My messiest craft spill has to be the little clear beads for shaker cards. They spilled and rolled everywhere!

My daughter spilled my coffee all over my table, and since it is a fold up table, it ran down the center and onto my stamps and paper underneath the table. Not fun, but it made me clean up my stash.

Delightful card. Far and away the biggest mess I ever made was when I went into my studio to clean up a mess that was already there. I tried to fix my wire shelves where my paper was stored and it broke up more and the paper all ended up on the floor. For a visual check out my blog http://stampingwithpeggie.blogspot.com/2010/09/mess.html

I have had several spills involving embossing powder. I am not sure what my issue is but I have spilled it several times.(And I am not normally so clumsy.) On the up side...I know have great techniques for cleaning it up!!

Julia said...

Well, you see I have these 4 cats, & they always want to be on my table(I am disabled so had to sell big home for tiny duplex apt., so dinning room in the kitchen is my craft room & we just don't have a dinning room, but just hubby & me now) & to keep me company I have my 4 babies, BIG babies.. It has led to many oops times.

But the worst was when I had a lot of refill inks out & was mixing colors & brayering, & my 2 very big cats decided they were coming up onto the table at the same time knocked over the bottles(probably about 14-16), & then layed down on top of them. Well they were covered with ink splashing out of the bottles as well as the whole area getting inked. It was not funny at the time & what a mess to clean up. The ink got wiped off the cats, but a whole lot of it just had to wear off, so they had the funniest hair for a while. If it would of been Halloween time they would of had their own costumes.

That was the worst of many boo-boos with the kids(cats). Now we have a cat tower by the table so they have their own place beside me.

Hugs,
JuliaB.

My kids were making Christmas gift tags last year and spilled my embossing powder all over our carpet. Very big mess. I could vacuum it up easily, but hated seeing it go to waste like that. Now they work over a table. Thanks for the chance.

First of all, absolutely adorable image!!! The messiest accident just happened TODAY!!! LOL!!! I was working with black flock on some witch hats and wouldn't you know the tin that I had the flock in slipped out of my hand and landed all over my lap, table and floor!!! NOT FUN!!!

My messiest spill was pepsi all over my craft table and everything that was piled on it got wet, finished cards, unfinished cards, scraps, and good cardstock. I have a lid on my drinks and set it on a separate table now. Thanks for the chance to win those darling stamps. I love Suzanne's card.

I have to say that I try my best to not put anything around or on my desk just for this reason. My computer sits on my desk and so do my COpics and various differant supplies. My worst miss was made by me! I had spent about an hour going through things on my desk and putting it all away so that I could get crafty. I did however have a project sitting there when I reached for my drink that had been sitting there the whole time and I totally dumped in on my project and on my keyboard. I was so mad at myself for being so stupid. heehee Oh well at least it was me and not anyone else. Hugs,Lisa G

Michelle VP said...

Believe it or not, I can't think of any messy spill stories. :) I keep drinks away from my craft table and I've been pretty careful with my powders and glitter. Although, the glitter still manages to transfer to everything else in the room when I use it. :)

LouLou Shive said...

My greatest spill happened with my glue gun. I always end up in the floor sitting Indian style at some phase in my craft completion. The project I was creating fell apart as I was piling a large heap of glue. The glue fell on the shin of my leg! It wasn't just a little bit but like a 1/2 inch x 3 inch string. - It didn't stop me from crafting though!!

Darla said...

hmmm... I'm not sure which one's worse... I've spilled a full bottle of glue all over everything on my table (had it open to fill a smaller bottle). I've had 3 jars of microfine glitter emptied onto my table/floor by a small "helper" didn't ruin anything but well we all know how awful glitter is to clean up when it's a little bit but 3 full jars of microfine stays in the air for weeks it's like drywall dust!!! or.... when I was doing a ton of watercolouring with my H2O's and had all my little plastic shotglasses of rinse water (1 for every colour) all quite darkened from being used (was painting for hours a mass production) and I went to stand up to stretch and hit my leg on the table really hard and knowcked over ALL of the coloured water ALL over my mass production!!!!

Linda Carson said...

My sister knocked over an entire tower rack of paper. It wasn't pretty.

Mari Harpham said...

The messest spill I had was when my printer flap opened and knocked a glass of Coke everywhere. It was all over my keyboard and color charts.

My messiest accident was a "ton" of beads spilled on the floor while working with embossing powder and small fimo projects. Have you ever tried to pick up lots of small beads in a very crowded room? Not much fun. Thanks for the chance to win. shirlwilson [at] comcast [dot] net

Beautiful card what a teaser cant wait to see the rest.
My most awful spill was a container of glitter on the table and rolled off onto the carpet now that is a mess, vac up what could but its forever in the carpet and on anything that walked over it for months you could see specks of glitter in different rooms.

Brandi said...

Glitter ~ not a little bit either! :) My husband still swears he sparkles where ever he goes. :)

The messiest spill I have had was a blocked stickles bottle and when I squeezed it so hard the whole top came off and I had stickles all over my work, on the table and all over the curtains... Such a mess!!!

Cindy said...

Hmm...I keep drinks off of my scrap table so I would have to say my messiest spill was when I dumped my container holding my brads all over...and I mean all over! Into my scrap bag, on the floor in baskets, etc.. I am still finding brads! LOL

Lovin what I see so far! Thanks!

theCook said...

Cross my fingers, no spill yet... I've had bottles of glue fall, but they were caped... So the messiest that happens is when I use glitter: no accidental spill, only voluntary ones, but very messy nonetheless!

I knocked my entire glitter supply over my kitchen just recently - I'd not-so-cleverly thought they'd be handy stored in a little cup with their lids off. Not so clever when your dog is covered in glitter!

I did the messiest mess my self. I had an array of things on my work desk. I had cut cardstock and all the goodies to do baby announcements for my neice. I had stamped and was in the process of putting them all together. Thirty of them...yes 30! I moved something to the side and spilled RootBeer! The stickiest mess ever, it rolled under, over, around and between then dripped down the table on to the carpet and my big plastic cover for my rolling chair. The dogs even got it, as they lay under my work table while I work. Took me forever....to clean up, even after cleaning up I found sticky for weeks on edges of things I swore I cleaned. So no more drinks on my work table!!!

Shazza said...

mine has to be my Glossy Accents. I tried to clean it all up but the tell tale dimensional sections of my dining table make it clear I missed some!!!!!!!!
Suzanne's card is beautiful, can't wait to see all the new releases x

sucor said...

I'm quite new to this and my biggest mess so far was knocking over a bottle of very fine glitter. It went everywhere! I thought I cleaned and vacumned well but I'm still finding it, far from where I spilled it!

Susan said...

ok I have made plenty of messes! but the worst was when my two girls, ages 6 & 8 decided to make a card for me. they used all my brand new flock powders (all colors!) and a container of 7 different colors of super fine glitter, luckily the cheap stuff!!, and spilled all of the above all over our "craft room"! LOL! But since the card was for me I couldn't be too mad, just helped them clean it up.

Becky said...

Beautiful card.. I never have had a messy mess up yet :) sorry.. but I probably will after I write this hahaha.

Debbie said...

What a beautiful card!
I squeezed a bottle of glue that had a fine tip nozzle on the opening. My granddaughter was little and sat next to me stamping. The bottle blew open and glue went all over our hair and projects.
A few years later as we were moving the craft room to a new space and as I was painting the room I wondered what the heck was that blob on the ceiling. I kept looking and wondering what would make such a strange shape and it was sort of golden yellow. It took me a while but I remembered the glue explosion and that's what it was. It was directly above where I was sitting. I laughed because I wondered where all the glue had gone that day. Oh.. and the blob won't come off without tearing the finish off the ceiling. I guess it could be called "ceiling art."

Thanks for a chance to win.

Oh I'm so looking forward to the 2 new mini releases. Can't wait to see them! :-)

My biggest mess was when I knocked over a bottle of liquid glue (podge for candles, which is very runny) on my desk. And of course it did not only mess up the top of my desk... it also ran down the front and sides too. And I have a desk with lots of small drawers on the front.....can you imagine? It was in almost all of the drawers too......yikes what a gooey mess!

Thanks for the chance to win!

Hugs,

Its' got to be glitter---glitter everywhere! I dropped the container (old butter fingers) and it went flying everywhere--as I was cleaning up, my son turned on the ceiling fan. you can imagine how loud I yelled "Noooooooo". LOL

My most messiest spill is when I knocked over a FULL bead box that contained mini brads, eyelets, small buttons etc. Everything was organized perfectly by shape color, it tooks me a couple of hours to get it all put back in order!
Thanks for the chance at the stamps!

Easy question! LOL My ummm I mean My daughters worse spill at MY craft area was when she just HAD to craft up a shirt for club night. So she took my glitter and glue.... My GOOD glitter and glue and proceeded to craft up her shirt. So that mess is a no brainer right? But then she took out my liquid shimmerz and didn't realize how runny sticky it was and when she opened the bottle liquid pretty went all over my desk. And BTW... my desk is ALWAYS covered in scrap stuff. Hmmmm what can ya do. God bless 19 year old children...

The messiest mess that ever happened in my craft room when a bottle of Mod Podge spilled all over the desk and surrounding projects and tools. It was a forever job to clean up and I'm sorry to say I haven't gotten up the nerve to try it again.

Can't wait for the new release! Woo Hoo!

downrightcrafty said...

"giggles" oh how to start. I was in the throws of creativity....everything was going swimmingly. I pressed my stamp into the glue pad and sprinkled the glitter onto the glued areas. I had prepared so I thought with the sheet of paper underneath the image....
I tipped the excess glue off the image plate, tapped it gently and then blew off the excess, oops there you go you see not only did I blow the glitter off the image plate but also out of the glitter pot, the glitter was coming down like little snowflakes all over the craft area, all over me and into the glue stamp. After attempting to tidy up and sort of getting there, I came downstairs where I spread it around the whole house, I was sparkling and now so was the dog. If you thought that was the end oh nope, the hubby woke up the next morning and even after his wash did not notice that he too was sparkling.....he went to work shining nicely....being a contractor you can imagine that my little accidental slip up had managed to create such jokes
I honestly do try to keep the glitter out of the bed now :)

thanks for the opportunity and good luck everyone

My messiest accidents happen often due to a nosy cat that frequently tried to steal paper out of my trash can and tips it over. I guess I need to get one with a lid on it. Thanks so much for the chance to win some candy and am anxiously awaiting the release!

think of a verry messy craftroom because I had a deadline making cards for a storewindow, take 4 bottles of ultra fine glitter with no top, standing on a box, lift the box because the paper was under it and think you can do it without dropping the box. Think you can? I didn´t, the box tipt over the table down to the floor and the 4 colours mixxed themselfs and everything around it was covered with a tinny layer of glitterdust. It took me a few days before my room din´t spark in de dark again.

Such a gorgeous card. Thanks for the chance to win some fab candy.

I'm always tipping stuff over. The worst so far was a whole pint glass of diet coke. It went all over some of my completed cards, under drawers, on the floor, every where. It happened as I was putting everything away, so luckily the only things ruined were a couple of cards which weren't my favourites. Had they been cards I had spent ages over I think I would have cried!

Gorgeous image and of course Suzanne's fab colouring is just breathtaking!
The messiest accident - I think it's a tie between my -year old deciding that cutting mat would be a perfect surface for using as a palette for poster paints (don't ask, one needs to go to toilet occasionally!) and myself dropping a black Memento pad slam dunk on freshly coloured scene - about couple of hours before I was due to submit my DT card. There have been a lot bigger messes than that but those have mainly been intentional, lol.

Not too bad here. I am usually pretty careful (I just knocked on wood) - the worst would probably be the ink pad that went face down on my white pants when I was running out the door to get to work... oops!

Well, I usually create some catastrophe everytime I craft and it usually involves glitter! I know myself well enough to NEVER have a drink nearby and so far, so good on never spilling on my projects. I have scooped up my fair share of glitter numerous times though!

Love this image! Your work is amazing..can't wait to meet you in Long Island!
Anyway...my biggest craft mess was my DD! I recently retired and my friends at the office included my 18 yo in the planning of a surprise for me. She decided to make a scrapbook for me (and sneaking out photos of me for placement on the cake!)so she took all kinds of supplies to make this lovely book. When I saw all the pages with stickles and glitter and cricut cuts I knew what I was facing when I went to her room (she had asked me to keep out for a surprise) and I wasn't surprised to find stuff everywhere! But what a fabulous surprise and mess!
Thanks so much for the chance to win!

My biggest accidental craft mess was with black fun flock, just a couple of weeks ago. Awhile ago, I had needed some for a project and was given some by a friend in an envelope- of course you can't through out crafting supplies (LOL), so I put the envelope in a folder with other items. So a couple of weeks ago I was in the folder to get something else out and the envelope had turned upside down, not remembering what was in it, I picked it up and black fun flock went everywhere. It is very hard to pick back up, it sticks to everything. But I don't think this is as bad as some of the other stories. Can't wait to see the new releases and thanks for the chance to win!

The messiest craft mess would be an incident with glitter and a fan...I'm sure you can figure out the rest!! LOL! BIG MISTAKE!!!

Hi there! Wow, what an amazing card and what a great sneak peak!!

Hmmm, I'd have to say I wasn't watching one of my daycare kids, you know, one that you need eyes literally in the back of your head..lol..and he got my glitter stack and thought it would be nice to add it to the dogs water AND food! What a mess! My dogs had sparkles on their noses for weeks. We eventually just gave up trying to clean it all and bought new bowls! Once that glitter gets somewhere, look out!!

Thanks for the chance to win!

My messiest spill happend not too long ago. Hershey's chocolate syrup. My son wanted chocolate milk so rather than get up, I had him bring me his glass and the syrup. What a dumb thing to do. I ruined a cute Wag's and Whiskers image I was coloring.

Thank goodness that I haven't had too many. The one or two that I remember involve embossing powder and forgetting to screw the lid on after using it. The result is scrapping up as much as you can and then getting the vaccumn! And do you notice that you pretty much have glitter on either your hands or your face after stamping?

My most messy accident would be when I was using my glossy accents and it just squirted out big gloob all over my shirt. I was trying to be careful, so I thought I point it away from my card. The card was safe, but not everything else. :)

Oh my goodness, COFFEE!! A big huge Mocha Breve - YUCK! I don't allow any food or beverages anywhere near my stuff anymore. Even my boys know and will freak out if anyone visiting sets down their glass. He He taught them well!

My most messiest accident was when I was using the Pergamano white ink to do outline of design and knocked it over. OHh my, what a mess. It ruined my table as you can't get it out and I was a very unpopular person for a while. Love this image and can't wait to see what the others are.

There *is* a reason I called my blog stamping recklesley, LOL! When I crafted in the kitchen I dropped the hotknife, managed to dodge the hot blade, but still have the melted lino to show for it. Now that I have my own craft area, I've dropped a medallion I was heat embossing, only to leave a hard spot (since the EP has now well and truly set) on the carpet below my craft desk.

Guess I'm like a dog and need to mark my territory, LOL!

My biggest mess was a brand new bottle of Shimmerz paint. The bad thing is it was all me I couldn't even blame my kids:)

FibreJunky said...

Mine is probably more like what haven't I knocked over and spilled? Coffee, embossing powder, gesso, crackle paint...I've dropped things onto my paint palette, dropped ink pads on the floor (sans lids, ink side down, of course)...yes, I am a klutz.

About the worst thing that I have ever spilled in my craft room was a cup of coffee. However, the absolute worst thing happened a few weeks after I had the room built. My daughter's friends were over using my supplies to complete a school project. After they were gone, I noticed that there was a perfect circle cut in my new formica countertop. One of the girls had used the Creative Memories circle cutter without the cutting mat. I had no idea they were that sharp!

I opened some bleach and somehow I splashed a spot on a card that I had just finished...all the places that it could have gone but had to land there...Luckily I hid with an embellie.

I usually manage to drop an ink pad on something I just colored. I also remember buying a special color embossing powder & ending up spilling a lot of it into the carpet. If it would've been on the desk, I could've at least gathered it up & used it.

I think this happend a year ago. I had some sort of touch marker, wich had never been used, and I had a bright idea for a project including that marker. But when the time came for it to shine I couldn't get the paint out. I used all my strenght and was quite red in the face when the top suddenly exploded. The paint inside the marker was bright pink and so I had pink paint all over my desk, my self and everything around me. I can still find some pink paint now and then.

I didn't actually spill something but, rather, poured something. I was using an embossing powder and silver glitter on a project and accidentally poured the excess glitter into my pot of white embossing powder! I must say I actually liked the effect! I've used it several times and the glitter gives a nice sparkle effect with the white embossing powder.

The messiest thing I had happen is when my cat knocked over one of my storage units. Six big drawers and 5 smaller drawers with a candle and a potted flower on top of it all. Of course they all opened and broke my ceramic candle shade and candle jar. But, I love that cat any way.

I have spilled a jar of glitter all over the craft table like many others. But the worst of all is dropping a black ink pad on a project that I just finished. I was trying very carefully to ink up the sentiment stamp when it happened :(

I would say my messiest spill was when I knocked over a 12 compartment organizer with brads, and small embellishments that where organized by color.Needless to say it took me a couple of hours to reorganize!

For me it was refilling my colorless blender. I always work over a plastic mat but I had so much stuff on my desk. I tried creating room and swiped everything away...so bye bye plastic mat. Didn't think about it at the time. I had the big refill bottle so my refill needle didn't fit. I tried to use it as a funnel only it overflowed and colorless blender was all over my hardwood desk. Guess what it does to the poly coating? It smears it and makes it sticky so there is no longer a clear coat over the area. Ugh! Ahhh well, live and learn. Loving the new releases.

Oh, my messiest spill. I am a basement stamper and scrapper. I have 8 of those what closet organizers stacked on each other on top of a dresser drawers.( Ok, so I get all the left over furniture for my craft items.) LOL Well, I was standing on a chair trying to reach for all my buttons and beads, when the closet organizers slipped and all my containers of seed beads, buttons, brads, and you name it came crashing to the floor. Okay, have you ever needed to sort out thousands of beads and baubles. What a mess. I just sat and cried and then started to resort all the little bits back into those plastic compartment organizers. I have since secured the closet organizers so that it never happens again. All the hours it took to clean up, I probably could have made a good amount of cards.

I'd have to say my messiest accident was dropping my black Staz-On ink pad on my beige carpet...it just HAD to land face down.

Glue! I once dumped a bottle of glue all over my desk. Anything it came in contact with was definitely ruined. I've never made that mistake again. LOL! Glitter isn't much better. Can you tell I'm not the neatest crafter?

Shellie D said...

Luckily, I haven't had too many terrible accidents in my craft area. I have, however, sent a boatload of bouncing microbeads all over the counter and the floor--that took a while to clean up! Thanks for the opportunity to win some more fun stamps from your store!

My most messy crafting spill? Yikes... just yesterday I was creating a template suitcase project and went to put on some white glue. It volcanoed... must have had a pressure build up? Anyway, it was everywhere! All over my suitcase, my hands, the table cloth... and everything I touched after, including the sink taps! LOL I thought I'd never get all that glue off. In fact, I think there's still a bit way under my finger nails! My absolute messiest spill would have to be a broken bottle of glitter inside my travelling scrap bag though. Glitter was throughout everything!

Can't wait to see the new stamps!! I don't think I'm lucky enough to win them, but hope springs eternal :D

I'm always so ultra careful about spills on my scrap area because it's also where my computer is so it my 16 year old son who was messing with my supplies while he was on the computer one afternoon. That day he decided to explore my AC Zing Powders.... the lil' devil didn't even bother to tell me about his spill but instead tried to hide it. The next day, I'm online and noticed glittery powder coming out of every nook and corner of my stacked kits.... it actually took me a couple of hours to figure out what it was, then once I did... all I had to do is go look in his dresser drawer to find where he thought he had well hidden the almost empty bottles. Now the rule is if he wants to be able to use the computer ever again, he's to NOT touch my stuff!

Hey! The samples are super fine and can't wait to see the rest!! I don't need glitter, soda, paint, glue or anything else to make a mess. The messiest mess is me! I can clean up and as soon as I enter the room again, it looks like a tornado touched down in no time at all! I am the mess!

Oh this is easy...I spilled an entire jar of the really fine Martha Stewart glitter on my desk...that stuff goes EVERYWHERE!!!!! I looked like I lost a fight with a fairy!

Marie D said...

Oh, has to be when I knocked over a full bottle of decoupage glue over a project... My whole desk was covered with it! ...took quite some time to get rid of that mess!!
Thanks for the chance to win!!

I think I have probably spilled it all. That could be why my family calls me grace as in graceless and my name is Sally..hum..I've spilled glue, glitter, micro beeds, embossing powder, turpintine (awful smelly stuff), paint, ink, coffee, tea, water and even a hot fudge sundae...You would think I would learn wouldn't you?

its a tie between glitter and straight pins :-( Thanks for asking and Thanks for a chance to win :-)

Ha! That's easy - when my, then 4 year old, decided to get up really early (before anyone else) and tried to make a glittery picture - what she ended up with was glitter EVERYWHERE (including all the other rooms in the house)!!! - yeah, mommy (nor daddy) wasn't happy when she woke up! :)

Glad I'm not alone with all the messiness! I've spilled coffee a few times but recently my 2 and half year old little boy got my basket of embossing powders and in about 3 minutes flat-the time it takes to put the kettle on he'd poured almost 30 pots all over the living room! I still find little mounds of glitter now!! Thanks for the chance to win!

What a mess I ended up with when I spilled an entire jar of rubber cement on my carpet. That would be my messiest spill EVER!!!!
