Good morning!!!  It is Tuesday and time for a new challenge at Try it out T-day:o)  This week, Suzanne has issued us a Clean and Simple challenge.  We are to use LOTS of white or cream with only 1 pop of color!  Your image can be colored with any colors you like, but your papers cannot be multicolored.  The predominant color on your creation should be white or cream.  I hope you will be able to play along with us:o)

For my card, I chose to use the lovely stamp Carousel Dreams from Elisabeth Bell Sampler Edition #5 for SCACD.  I chose to color the image with my Viva Decor pearl pens and Diamond Glaze...if you can actually color with Diamond Glaze.  I was trying to give it the appearance of painted porcelain.  For the background panel, I used my latest addiction...Dreamweaver:o)  Marti has some awesome videos HERE and HERE using this fun and fabulous product!  If you haven't already, you should check them out!!  On this card, I used translucent embossing paste and the Flower Lace Background stencil...let it dry...rubbed a VeraMark pad over the embossed image...and dabbed on Moonstone Metallic FX mica powder with a stencil brush.  It creates such a beautiful dimension.  I love this stuff!!!  I also dabbed the excess mica powder from my brush onto the bow.  If you look closely, you can see bits of sparkle. I will be honest...the card is simple, but it wasn't *clean* because Dreamweaver is a bit on the *mEsSy* side;o)  But, it is oh so FUN to play with, and the creative possibilities with this wonderful product are virtually endless!!

I have another appointment today, so I will keep this post short.  Have a wonderful Tuesday, and don't forget to drop by the store blog on Thursday to see the eye candy the rest of my DT sisters have created for this week's Clean and Simple challenge.

HUGS!!!
Carolyn
