New Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday everyone!  This week the DT is showing you what we did with this sketch:

And this is what I came up with:

From 2010-07-19

The image is from the Elisabeth Bell Collection 3, and  truthfully it is one of my favorite images (I had the card at work and everyone who saw it wanted to buy the card).  

The girl is colored with Copic markers, the buttons, patches and pocket were embellished with the Viva Decor Glitter Liner, "Amber" (love the glitter liners).  The grass was drawn in with Copics and then I used the Viva Decor Transparent Gloss Gel pen to highlight parts of the grass.

To give a little more umph to the card I decided to use the Viva Decor Glitter Liner and also the Yellow Gloss Gell pen for all of the centers, if you look closely you can see the raised centers on the background paper.

I also used the Viva Decor pens for the centers of the flowers on the card, and the flourish (transparent gel pen with some chunky glitter sprinkled on top.)
