Fun challenge this week: Using lots of white and only one accent color

Happy Tuesday everyone!  This week we are working on clean and simple, lots of white with one pop of color. My card this week has lots of white, and just one other accent color, and a fantastic image from Elisabeth Bell's Collection 5.  And I need to let you know that I cased the card I made, found a GREAT card online and thought it would be perfect for this challenge!

Here is the card I made for this week's challenge:

And a close up of the horse:

I loved making this card and absolutely adore the horse image, which lends itself to some fantastic inspiration! To make the card I used a nestie to cut out the center hole, cut out the butterflies and swirls with the Slice, used a number of flower punches, and added small dots of Diamond Glaze to the flowers on the horse, and then sprinkled some clear glitter over the flowers.

The horse was colored using copic markers, and then I attached the horse to a card front, put the yellow dotted paper on a number of adhesive squares to give it a raised look.  I also added the "Opal" Viva Decor Paper Pen to the center of the flowers for a nice pearl effect.

Hope you like the card for this week.....I think the card sort of failed in the "simple" area, but at least I got the color guidelines right : )

Have a GREAT week everyone.

Take care,
