Carousel Dreams

Takes me back to my childhood when my great grandmother would take me to the amusement park and one of my favorite rides was the carousel. Although I was a bit of a scaredy cat and didn't like the horses that went up and down until I was older.

Sadly my motion sickness has increased a bit since my youth and the last time I tried to ride a carousel with my kids I got very, very ill. Sigh.


But enough rambling, onto the card~ I love the new Memory Box papers that Susana is carrying! Gorgeous!! Normally I color my image and then pick my papers but I knew I wanted to use these Jubilee papers so I did the reverse on this card. 


When looking to embellish this card, I was going through my drawers and found my Petaloo Flora Doodle butterflies, I thought it looked so pretty on the card. To balance the butterfly out, I added some Kaisercraft Pearls in the opposite corner.


To finish the card I added sparkle! I used copic glitter pens on the saddle and vines/leaves and then used my Viva Decor Glitter liner on the flowers.
