TIOT has a Color Challenge for You:o)

Happy Tuesday!!!  It is time for a new challenge from SCACD's Try It Out Tuesday:o)  This week, Suzanne has a fabulous color challenge for us.  Wanna know what it is?  Well, you are to create a card and/or project using Aqua, Coral (peach tones), and cream or white.  Isn't that the prettiest collection of colors?  I think so!!  In fact, the Rolodex of patterned papers that is stored within my mind was shuffling like crazy as soon as I saw this awesome color combination:o)  Then it came to me...a collection of Autumn Leaves patterned papers I purchased about a year-in-a-half ago would be perfect!!  Can you believe I had such wonderful paper all this time and never used a single sheet!  Ohhhh...the shame!!!  Well, thanks to Suzanne...I have nothing to be ashamed of anymore:o)  Thank you, Suzanne!!!

 

 

For today's card, the image I selected was Atlantia from the Elisabeth Bell Sampler Edition 2 made exclusively for SCACD.  Isn't this the dreamiest image EVER?!?!  As soon as I saw her Botticelli's painting, "The Birth of Venus" came to mind...such a tender and delicate image.  I colored her with Prismacolor markers...added some highlights here and there with Stickles, Smooch and Liquid Pearl.  I just love the way it sparkles. Then topped it all off with aqua colored half pearls, some swirly flourishes and a charm.
