TIOT #39~Two Turtle Doves and a Bridal Shower Gift Box

Good morning!!! It is time for this week's Try It Out Tuesday, and Suzanne issued us a fun challenge this week...Versatility Stampin'. We were asked to use the new stamps from the Elisabeth Bell Special Edition Ornament Collection for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design, and we were to use one of these fabulous stamps in a unique way to show its versatility.

I chose to use this gorgeous stamp Two Turtle Doves. Isn't it LOVELY? Actually, I find all of these incredible new stamps positively irresistible!!! They are so very elegant, yet have the cute quality that I love as well:o) Although it appears to be a Christmas ornament...it can also be used to create a wonderful Bridal Shower Gift Box.

Well, that is what I chose to create for this week's Versatility Stampin' Challenge. I don't know...I think the doves immediately brought to mind~Wedding, and I just ran with it. I had this heart-shaped box in my stash for quite some time now, and I thought it was high time it was dressed;o) The poor thing was feeling naked and neglected in my "future project" drawer. Do you have one of those...where you find something neat and buy it for use "one day"? Anywhoo...I bought the box at AC Moore...it cost about a dollar. You know me, I am a penny pincher. Hahaha!

What do you think? Did I pull it off? I like the way it turned out, and it came together rather easily...and I always like it when that happens. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
