Have a "Fairy" Good Day

Happy Tuesday y'all!!! I know that greeting sounded very country, but hey...I'm a country gal and that is known to happen from time to time:o) Hahaha!!! Are you feelin' me Heather? You should hear the two of us when we talk on the phone...southern all the way!;O) And she thought her accent would scare me away...boy was she in for a huge surprise when she heard me. LOL! Okay, enough jibber jabbering...I know you came here to see what this week's challenge is over at Try It Out Tuesday. This week, you are to create a Triangular Trifold card. HERE is the link if you have never attempted one of these babies. I must admit, this was my first time. If you are squeamish about trying new things, no need to worry about this card fold because it is quick...easy...and doesn't require a lot of materials. If you have paper, ribbon, adhesive and an image...you are good to go!!!

For my card, I chose the precious little bunny from the Fairy Friends stamp set by Pink Cat Studio. Isn't this bunny fairy absolutely precious?!?! There are so very many possibilities with this stamp, and she is only one of the sweet images from this cute and cuddly set. I colored this sweetie with Prismacolor pencils (along with OMS and blending stumps). Her fairy wings and wand were colored with Smooch Gold, then a light coating of Stickles was added over the gold. I wanted her wings and wand to be extra sparkly. I must say, if you have never tried the Clearsnap Smooch Accent Ink...you don't know what you are missing!! This stuff totally ROCKS!!! It glides on very smoothly, has a 24-karat shine, dries quickly, and very little goes a L-O-N-G way!! I only have one of these awesome inks, but I foresee more in the very near future...but shhhhh...don't tell hubby;o) Her floral tiara was created with Flower Soft...another product I have fallen head-over-heels for!! How did I get by for so long without it?!? I have no clue...I suppose I should crawl out from under my rock every now and then. I do have a sneaking suspicion that more of it will somehow find its way into my craft room...MUHAHAHA;O) You know, it kinda accidentally found itself in my online shopping cart. Hey...I can't be the only one who does this. Right? Please, don't leave me hangin':o} I gotta be able to truthfully say I did it all because of stamping peer pressure. Hahaha!

I left the interior blank, which is why I didn't take any photos. I think I will save it as a template for a baby shower invite...or maybe use it to accompany a tooth fairy gift basket.

Well, it looks as though it is time for me do be moseying my way on out of here. I have some errands to run, and hubby has some outdoor projects planned for us today.
