A new Try It Out Tuesday it is for the design team at SCACD, today we have a wonderful sketch to follow, made by our great team leader Suzanne.
I chose to use the beautiful Spunkette by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD on my card, this time I masked her wings off, to fit the sketch better. Colored her with my Prismacolor pencils, and cut her out with Nestabilities dies. I stamped, colored and cut the flower and put it on pop dots.
I now think I know why I don't do so much layering of different patterned papers on my cards, I spend way to much time trying to find the perfect color and pattern matches, and sometimes I just can't find it!
But here I was lucky enough to have a pile of BasicGrey paper pads to look trough, so I did pretty well, I think.
(The background pp is from the June Bug pad.)
For corner decoration I used a Cuttlebug die, and I used Scrapper's Floss on the buttons.
