This week we made something for Father’s Day! I really struggle making “manly” gifts. I love ribbon and sparkly things too much! When I started making this little gift box, I didn’t intend on putting flowers on it. I planned on putting a stamped image on it, but I just couldn’t seem to find “the right” stamp. I sat and started at it for the longest time. These fabulously glittery Petaloo Dazzlers kept beckoning to me. I tried to tell them they were too girly for this project, but they wouldn’t listen. Next thing I knew, they had hopped up on the box and I loved them so much I glued them down with some Aleene’s tacky glue before they could change their mind.

I also used some Gold Lame Smooch to edge the punched green panel. I love the applicator on this stuff, it makes it so easy to get into the tiniest of spots!! Now I just need to decide what goodies I'd like to fill this with! :o)

Swing over to the Follow Your Heart blog to check out the rest of the teams creations! And tomorrow we begin our peeks at the new Series 2 of Anki’s Sweethearts that will be available in the store on Friday!
