Clearly TIOT#24...Summertime!

It's Tuesday already?!? That means it's time for another Try It Out Tuesday at the Follow Your Heart blog!! And this week Suzanne has challenged us to use acetate on our projects. The theme? "Clearly Summer". Well, I am running very low on my acetate, so I stole a bit from some packaging that my hair iron came in. Susana carries it in her store, so I may need to order some more. I stamped the sentiment from Lily at the Beach with Stazon ink, then cut the top edge with some scalloped scissors. I used some foam dots to attach the acetate to the card, then covered them up with some half-pearls! I rather like the look!!

The sweet image is from the Victoria Case line for SCACD and is called Nuts For You. The image was stamped with Memento onto my favorite pure luxury card stock - there is absolutely NO bleed through and it allowed me to finally create a One-layer card and still use my Copics! I added some Spring FlowerSoft to her boquet for some texture, and some diamond glaze to her eyes for some shine.
